Those were fucking hysterical.
He didn’t have much negative to say about Michigan State other than we don’t really have a connection to Spartans.
A lot of his comments apply to Michigan in general as well.

I live 4 hours from LA. As far as I’m concerned nothing good happens south of Point Conception, and I happen to like passing tractors on the way to work.

If you can, get up to Ames and go to Great Plains Sauce and dough company. Get the wheat crust with the big roll at the edge. Use honey on the edge crust. Delicious.

I was once in the NW corner of Iowa. I saw a sign pointing down a dirt road indicating the tallest point in Iowa. The only thing visible out to the horizon was a big pile of road construction dirt in the middle of a cornfield.
I have never been in another state where dirt roads intersected with a state highway.
There are two reasons why Iowa doesn’t have a pro football team: 1) the name “Cornhuskers” is already taken, and 2) because then Minnesota will want one too.
Lastly, the only reason Missori hasn’t fallen into Arkansas is because Iowa sucks.

In defense of Iowa... (A Quad Cities perspective)
I had some of the best BBQ there. I’d easily put it up against Texas and KC.
Car Culture is insane. Being close to Cordova can do that though.
Bars on the Mississippi kick ass. As do the “Redneks” that hang out at them.
A “Traffic Jam” usually means a 10 minute delay.
You will meet Methheads. They’re not bad people really. My neighbor usually cut my grass for me, edged my sidewalks, washed my truck a couple times and rebuilt my dock on the lake behind the house. They’re not smart but they get things done..
It’s not Illinois. Well, part of the QC is Illinois but residents don’t consider it Illinois either.
